Heat And Coral Death

Okay so I haven't posted this on here but, I have had a few Coral died due to a faulty heater raising the water temperature to approximately 95 degrees Fahrenheit. I had a Acan.H die and a montipora, and a few crabs. I'm not going to post my water stats they're completely within ideal levels. The funny thing is I feel like I failed my Coral because I failed to put enough effort into buying a high-quality heater instead of a average level heater.

Has anyone else ever had this problem?

Strangely enough, my one acropora is totally stoked withbhigh temperature it couldn't be happier, some palythoa was a little unsure of it so far though they seem fine just have to get over what just happened. There's a small GSP that hasn't opened at all since it happened.

Does anybody know any Coral that do like higher temperatures?

Pretty sure most will start to turn bad at 85°. Sorry to hear about the losses.

Several people have had issues with heaters failing. That is why a lot of people suggest 2 small heater vs one and/or a heater controller. Most any heater out there has reports of getting stuck in the ON position.

the heater controllers on amazon are around 50 dollars and usually free delivery, worth every penny

Mine stuck on. I caught it at 85 deg. i think was the highest. I got a new heater and and Inkbird controller.
The controller was 50 bucks. Can run a chiller or fan off it too. I have a fan also now that comes on and off with the same controller.

I live in a Sauna "Apartment" I might just sell my entire setup because there is no easy way to control the temp whether its winter or summer and I have gallons of evaporation in a single day sometimes.
