haloween hermit crab is shell shopping

hey yall my haloween hermit crab is roaming the tank scoping out his old shells and some other ones. should I buy a variety of shels for him to find one confortable for him.

sorry never heard of a halloween hermit crab? does it look like a blue/or reg leg hermit?

if its out of his shell chances are he's looking for something bigger.  Just my guess

yes, you need to supply him with a variety off shells that he can grow into

I had a hermit doing the same thing.  One day the 1.5 inch turbo snail shell from a unsuccessful addition was up on a rock... One of th elittle hermits had moved into it... I swear that you coudl have fit 2 or 3 in there , I don;t get how he moves it lol

But ya get some more shells from a LFS Hermits will thakn you and they may not have to steal a shell from a live snail
