green slimmer

Got him at the frag swap. He was nice and healthy, green with green polyps.
But soon after he browned out. I had him half way in the tank, then moved him up top.
Im running 8 t5s about 4 inches above water.
He is about 6 inches below the top right now.
I got him off bigshow. I know dave runs 10 t5s above his frag.

Any suggestions.

Something's not right (oh and it's slimer, not slimmer, that's something women like to be).  Slimer is extremely hardy, I've had it high up and lower in the tank, and it's brighter green up high, and darker down low, but it grows like a weed.  I doubt light is the issue unless maybe your bulbs are old??

Is everything else doing okay?  I would figure some more sensitive stuff would turn before slimer.

yup everything else is fine. Not sure whats going on.
I wish i was slimmer...LOL
Well, just have too waite and see
The green polyps are always out, just the coral is brown.
