Glass Will Not Clean

Need some help here, I have a 65 gl tank and the front pane is marked up and it won't come off, does glass have a finish, it's kinda like cloudy in places.

I'm not sure how to explain it, you can't see it unless you look up under it. I've tried to scrape it off. Nope, I've used a plastic dish cleaning tool, I'm not sure if it's inside or outside, it looks terrible.

Any thoughts or ideas?

Sounds like you might have to polish it with a buffer and compound.

Sounds like calcium buildup.

Oh yea it's probably calcium build up. Vinegar and baking soda might get rid of it

OK I'll try that, I always have a half bucket with something in it

I tried Vinegar and water, didn't come off, but I think you guys are right, I'll keep at it, thanks very much

Long term coraline will etch into the glass surface leaving a cloudy haze.

It may be that, it is a used tank, still not coming off and only noticed it when I replaced the Led for the T5.
