Glass Lid, Reflected Light?

I've been wondering about this, and I've googled, just wondering what everyone here thinks...
I have a Biocube HQI, 29G, with a Maxspect Razor Nano 16k. The default glass lid does a pretty good job of controlling evaporation but I wonder about the amount of light it reflects or prevents from doing it's job. Google seems to think it mainly reflects the UV end of the spectrum, but I'm not clear on the degree of reflection or whether it really matters at all? It's probably related to the fact that I've been on vacation for 2 weeks and have nothing better to think about ;)
