frog spawn

My frog spawn looks a little weird a few of the tentacle look over bulbous and almost clear not brown and green what could be wrong they are also longer then the rest

I tried to look it up and got two answers one that it is about to drop an arm and reproduce and one that it is dying and will get a mushy brown goo on it but it don't have any goo looks like its filled with water its in moderate flow if it helps I can post a video to show movement I just hope its ok I like this coral one of my favorite

It's hard to tell from your photo but I think it's too close to that Favia or acan or whatever that green coral in the back is, both frogspawn and that one have strong stings and that swelling of the tentacles is a common sign of coral warfare

LOL, I dunno what to say then, I don't think it looks like it's dying. Maybe try and get a better photo of what s going on

I have a frog spawn that does that once in a while and it's still doing amazing and great growth does not look like it's dying I think your ok

Your coral is Okay. I think is forming a sweeper tentacle, similar to the one in the picture below.

In my experience; something it doesn't like is close to it, or its hungry!

Corals wage wars on each other (google search corals eating corals! Crazy how fast they can kill) for territory (someone should tell them the ocean is big...) This is how this coral fights!

Or, its just hungry, and reacting to food in the water column. Some will take food if given.
