I would say that is the most popular way of cutting and keeping frags wheather you will be selling them or growing them out.I think most people would love to have a frag tank, me included but when you figure that you need a designated tank, sump, skimmer, heater ,lights etc etc. We say no I think i'll just place a Frag rack in my tank. Infact there is a sweet set up advertised here on TFT for sale, Fantastic tank and light for 3 hundred bucks, what a steal but it's the time to cycle it and where do you put it?

I had a frag tank, and it was great. I just kept the set up in my storage room. I would love to do it again to keep my frags out of my DT. But I guess it also is just preference and how many you have and if it is worth the work and money on a second set up.

I really liked the look of those rock type frag shelves and even though I didn't check the price, they'd be cheaper than running an extra system

I have also seen people with a small part of their sump as a frag tank. Just a small mH bulb or LED light and good to go. Out of site, still easy to access, no second system.
