It's been so long since a new build I forget how it was. It's been about 8 hours up and running now with lr live sand and 125 gallons of brand new salt water. Give or take some of the water from zax tank that I transported the sand and rock in. I poured the kittle bit in figured it could only help seed the tank. Fishit gave me advice to add air to the water to oxegenate it as I'm running filterless and sump less at the moment, but does running two powerheads in the tank causing surface aggitation do the same? I mean that's All I have in my 55. Anyway at the opposite end of the tank where flow is not as rapid I'm getting a film on the surface with foam and small debris. Should I be concerned? Will this eliminate all bacteria and snails? Is it bad? I feel like a newbie again hahaha... Someone please say it will go away lol

I had this same thing on my build buddy, it will go away, I think it was due to all the new saltwater... and an overdosage of de-chlorinator, if you used that then I bet thats what it was!
Thats all I got other then no worries and it will go away in a day or two.
