Working to define few feeding programs for my controller and I would need little bit of review and opinions from you, please.
1. Flakes program (for fish)
- power heads in wave mode to maximize flow and keep flakes moving.
- return pump and skimmer OFF for 10 minutes to prevent flakes going down the drain.
2. Frozen food (for fish)
- power heads in wave mode
- return pump and skimmer OFF for about 3-4 minutes
3. Pellets program (for fish)
- power heads OFF for 5 minutes, then back ON
- return pump and skimmer running all the time
4. Spot feed program (for corals)
- power heads OFF for ~20 minutes, then few bursts of waves, then ON after about 30 minutes
- return and skimmer OFF for about 5 minutes then back ON
5. Plankton type program (for corals)
- power heads OFF for 3 minutes to allow spot feeding if wanted, then ON to circulate the food in the tank.
- return pump OFF for 12 minutes, then intermittent running (8-10 minutes) to minimize temperature loss, then ON after 20 minutes
- skimmer OFF for ~30 minutes to prevent skimming the food, then back ON
