I had a odd ball piece that I glued in place like a pillar with the intention of putting pulsing xenia or gsp on. My thoughts changed on what I wanted in the tank and the pillar no longer worked. I drained the water far enough to completely expose the pillar. I tried to break off the tip but instead I broke the cement that held the base of the pillar in place. I tried to find a place for the piller to make it work but couldn't. While readjusting pieces, my clownfish kept attacking me so I netted them to work. Every single rock in my tank ended up in a new spot. My 10 minute adjustment turned in to a 2+ hour rescape lol.

Sounds like my monthly routine. My damsels have really grown and the odd time one gets aggressive, so I tend to adjust the area he hangs out in, of course that leads to more adjustments. Don't think I have honestly just left things alone ever in my reef tank.

I do though keep the Xenia on an island to limit spread. Started with 3 stalks and now have about 11-12 groups, I do enjoy them.
