Dumb Question

I'm almost embarrassed, I've been out of the hobby for a few years and I had a question. What temperature are we keeping our tanks and those of you who test for KH, what are we looking for, I used to test for it, it's a great indication to see if the Alk/Calc was tied in. Thanks. I'm setting up a 35, no sump, no skimmer, back to basics, filtered with rock and water changes. TY

Mine is normally between 78-80
