Dosing/usage question

Say I have "10 lbs" of sps in a 50 gallon. .... If I transferred those same "10 lbs" to a 100 gallon tank would the coral still consume the same amount of alk and calcium as in 50 gallon, more? Less?

Assuming all growing conditions are the same except for volume of water.

Yes.  A coral will grow at a certain rate and will consume x amount of calcium.  That coral will consume that much calcium in a 10g tank or a 1000g tank.
