My tank is 70 GL LPS Dominated, a few SPS and a Maxima Clam, Chalices and softies. I was gonna set up a Doser and dose 2 part but my budget took a bit of a hit.
Do you think I could get away with water changes every two weeks 20 percent and not dose and maintain my parameters.

you'd have to test and see. try what your suggesting and if levels fall below where they should be adjust your schedule.
you should be fine IMO, but you never know, ive heard clams are calcium pigs

Hard to say like Poseidon said test and see. My guess would b I'd have to do weekly changes to keep thing more stable. I was surprised by the amount my Lps were consuming and found water changes every two weeks was insufficient. I even use h20 salt.

Water changes might not be enough. Once you noticed growth your water parameters will be diminished and a 20% water wouldn't be sufficient. It is best to first calculate the consumption rate. Once this is done you can determine how much is need to be dosed. First try with water changes and just monitor your levels for the time being and then once you noticed a drop that can not be compensated with water changes begin dosing.
