lots of people on here have had success with the pop bottle trap,easy to build

So I'm not having any luck with either trap.  Thinking I'm gonna have to take the rock work out. Would this be ok? I think I know what rock he lives in. Can I keep my fish in or should I take them out as well?

What is this pop bottle trick? I wish I knew about that one! I had to shave everything and use this ointment to get rid of mine...

Well it's sad it had to come to this, but I had to pull my rock out l, I searched every nook and cranny and the wife found him. So we grabbed some tweezers and began to tear it limb from limb until he let go of the rock.  Now my tank is really cloudy, how long until I can put my corals back in? Will they be ok in a bucket for abit? My frogspawn and favia?

Your sure it was alive and not just a molt? Easy to miss the crab mistaking an old body for the actual crab.. Corals can handle cloudy water, if it was me I would be putting them right back in.

No it was the crab, he was trying to escape the tweezers, and when I got a hold of him he was hanging on tight. Corals are back in, frogspawn doesn't look happy at all. And the tank just doesn't look good and I'm all stressed out!

Give it a few hours I'm sure it will clear up just like new.
