Any info on these guys I got a small one for a great price and my tank is kinda new ready for fish but still new not a hole lot of live rock yet not sure if it was a bad choice to buy him

Definitely not the easiest fish to keep alive.  Usually difficult to make eat.  I'd take it back if you can.  If not, feed mysis shrimp (very little, if any, nutrition in brine) and get some  algagen pods.  Good luck!

i agree, not the best choice,, judgeing from my experience and the experiences of others on here there is a very good chance it will not survive,, they need well established aquariums with high quality water and plenty of saltwater experience in my opinion
i would def b willing to buy it from you or trade for corals or equipment if you cant take it back

if its your only fish you might just get lucky, they are difficult fish, alot of that difficulty involves getting them to eat, competition from other fish makes it pretty much impossible so if its alone, hopefully you can get it to eat frozen foods, if you dont have any frozen food, i would goto pet smart tomorrow and buy frozen spirulina brine as its all they have here in sarnia thats any good, mysis or cyclopleze would be best but something is better than nothing thats for sure.

Hopefully, you got lucky and it will eat.  Fish are individuals after all!  The one I have was already eating mysis when I got it and it's doing great.  They are beautiful fish, and if you want one down the road, just make sure you see it eat before you buy.

Definitely best for an established tank.  Mine ate omega one frozen bloodworms immediately as well as aiptasia.  Try the frozen worms as they are close to their natural foods.
