I want a clown trigger but not as much as I want my linkia to be happy and alive. My he consensus I've got so far is trigger will turn linkia onto seafood or a chew toy,
Has anyone else experienced this?
I've always love clown trigs, but there are other fish I can easily settle for as well

Not sure if the Clown is compatible with your trigger. But I've kept clowns with other triggers before in clients tanks. You just need to make sure the clown is one of the last fish you add and also try and get a smaller one. I found less aggression when the clown was about half to 1/3 the size of the other fish in the tank. And keep him well fed.

Clown triggers are my fav... Get a small juvenile to improve your chances for success. You might be able to condition it from the start. Just make sure that you are committed to a regular feeding schedule as they have a fast metabolism and can waste away if you are not diligent with its needs.

An adult will have already developed a taste for various things so tank mates will be very limited.

When they hit about 6 inches it's like someone throws a switch in their heads
