Just wondering if anyone has any experience with clown tangs? Are they really aggressive as some sites indicate?

I had one for a short time many years ago but it was small and for some reason (possibly the similar stripe pattern?) My emperor angel hated it so it had to go.

They are really close relatives of the Sohal and mine is evil.  Actually he is OK with anything as long as it backs down. Anything that challenges his dominance gets killed.  He was a good citizen when he was small but he is pretty camped in my 200 gal. IMO They get bored in a small environment.  My Sohal's behaviour improved when I got a blue cleaner wrasse to give him constant attention.

With the space you have one should stay social for a long time depending on what other large tank mates it ends up with.

With a Clown Tang, you need a LARGE tank, which you have. I would add it as the last tang in your tank as they are very aggressive towards other Tangs.
