Hey Everybody....
Just wanted to share an experience I dont see often. Some of you may have read my previous post about going on vacation and returning to a tank that had the GFO/Carbon, bio-pellets and skimmer not working for week. Also the GFO/carbon was ready to be changed out and the biopellet reactor needed pellets. All of this caused a little browning in some SPS.....only a few but I could tell my northern delight, granulosa and maybe one or two more. Well since I have been home I performed a water change, changed out the GFO/Carbon, and added more bio-pellets.
The crazy thing is I can really tell the difference already. Infact I could tell a tiny bit last week but this week (2 weeks since) I can really notice....especially on the northern delight....much better. The reason I'm sharing is I rarely see positive change happen this fast. In fact for a little while there I was scared it was happening too fast as well all know bad things can happen when you change things too fast. My bulbs are getting old and I thought to change those at the same time but Im glad I held off now. I will save that one for another month or two.
I might pick up the feedings here soon.
