Can You Reuse Crushed Coral?

I have had some old crushed coral laying around, approx 50-60 lbs, for the last 5 years or so. it has long been out of water.

Can it be reused?

Should I soak/treat it with anything before I try and use it again?

Or, should I just use it as fill in the yard?

long story short, I am bring my old 75g back to life. I expect a long cycle as the formerly live rock is also been sitting dry for some time.

Rinse and repeat, rinse and repeat, rinse and...you get the idea. It is more work then it is worth, but cheaper.

i am super cheap... can definitely reuse it.

if in doubt abotu it you can acid wash it as well... but that requires a bit of reading up to know what you are dealing with.
