What do you guys think about these reactors and does anyone use one?

I usually just throw a nylon bag of carbon in my sump, and it seems to do an okay job. I don't use GFO though.

Are these reactors just a lot of hype and marketing from the BRS people?

I'm interested in getting one, but kinda on the fence. It looks like they are efficient and do good things.

no i didnt go with the high capacity gfo just the gfo granules their basic gfo.  i just wanted to try out the cheaper stuff first to try and save some money went with 1 pound of it which for my 65 gal will last about 6 to 8 months cause with the granules u put in a cup of it and that lasts 3-4 months so basically 1 pound of it is only 2 cups.  with the high capacity u only have to put in just under half a cup so a pound of that lasts alot longer.  i am running the dual with a maxi 1200 and its more than enough to power it my other chamber is half a cup of their rox .8 premimium carbon .
