what kind of fish do you have?  one of them may be biting your softies. i had a sailfin that bit at my hammer coral, and a filefish that bit at my brain coral.  they both recovered, once the fish disappeared.

Same as vdubzryd posted, it could be fish related. A lot of the angels will pick on corals. Watch the fishes in the tank and see what they are up to.

I had just picked up a Flame andgel 3 weeks ago and that's pretty much when it started. They still look salvageable but I like the fish to much to scrap it. What to do ??

My flame is my fav fish but now hes in my sump!  My chalice looked sick,  my zoos wouldnt open and my favia tissue was retracted....couldnt see him nipping during the day...now that hes out everything is happy!  Your issue is definately fish related!  Get rid of the flame if you want your corals to flourish!

+1

bad flame, bad flame angle, I had to get mine out as well a year ago. It was eating the mushrooms, kena tree and picking at my SPS. Some will do ok others will just be a PITA, too bad to cause they are a really nice looking addition to a reef tank
