After 8 months, my Black Ocellaris finally discovered my RBTA on Wednesday. He was going nuts in it all day. But since then, he hasn't gone near it.

Is this common?
Should I expect it to re-discover the anemone sometime (soon)?

On a side note: He has been hanging out in a Xenia for months, but ONLY at night.

It took mine 2years to find one of 5 nems in the tank.  It actualyl took them to chase a new set of clowns into the nems to hide before they finally got the point.

I cant say what will happen with yours. :) make them feel threatened and they will host something :)

Could be that your clown has to recover after the first round of stings from learning to host. Mine took a week or so after the first time to go back to the anemone
