Hey Guys,
Im looking for a new or used skimmer for my next project. My total water volume will only be around 60g. Looking for something rated for 80-100 with a somewhat small footprint as Im using a 20g long (30x12x12) aquarium for my sump.
So far Im looking at the vertex IN-80 or the SWC xtreme 120. Hoping to find a good used model but will buy new if nothing pops up.
Thanks

Only the vertex omega cone does. Rest use other pumps.

Swc 120 might be touch small for the 100g sys.

The new 160s will come with the sicce 600 or 1000. They are just testing em now. I have a marine sources skimmer that is a workhorse on my sysrem. ( use to have an Swc 150). 14w while pulling 22 Scfm.performance is exactly like the sicce 600. pump is actually a Build quality isn't as great as Swc but the pump is 10x better than the atmans.no startup issues and easy to disassemble for cleaning

I was looking to spend less then 200$. I have to eliminate the IN80. I didn't realize how massive the footprint is @ 10 3/4 x 11.5 YIKES
I'm thinking still the swc120 or this bubble magus knockoff.
It is only rated for 65g so I would be at max load.
Where can you get these swc besides online.

That skimmer used to have the older sicce pumps which had issues. That is the updated version with the sicce 600 pump.

Will the larger skimmers still be as effective on smaller systems ?
If the skimmer is ared for 130g - 180g and you run it on a system with 60g of water will it still be effective ?
