Bayoxide to strip phosphates from phosphate packed liverock?

Has anyone ever used this product in there tanks? I know water purification companies use it...looking for someone who can provide some insight as it seems like an effective way to pull phosphates REAL quick...too quick for our tanks, but if it is safe would work awesome to revive old dead rock.

Looks like just a brand name of ferric oxide, reading on reef central randy says it's likely the source of most companies gfo.

Sounds like HC GFO all most. I am sure you could all ways email someone like BRS and ask them for the MSDS sheets for their GFO and you can compare or their technical data sheet.
