I find myself getting sick on my aquascaping after several months. I feel this urge to change it that can only be satisfied by doing so... anyone else get this? and if so what do you normally do?

I've re-aquascaped my tank in the past.  I was just careful to not move rocks that were on/in the sandbed as I didn't want to disturb the sand much.  I also did a big water change afterwards to get rid of some of the extra 'gunk' that was previously stuck in the nooks and crannies of the rocks but was now in the water column.

Sounds like you need more coral. LOL. That way you can fiddle with that instead of your rock work.  ;D I all ways tend to make small changes here and there. Nothing really crazy though.
