Put an ATO on my frag tank. But it wont keep up. Even set the auto shut off to full. So it would pump as long as possible.
But apparently this aqua lifter pump is too small. Anyone suggest a better pump for ATO system.

if it's not pulling enough due to height i use the avast marine pump and it works great, it's pulling from my basement around 60' away.

It only has to pump 2 feet. Its just not enough for the amount of evaporation. I am going through 2 gallons a day of water. The pump is too small.

I use the Aqua Lifter and it has no problem keeping up. I go through a 5 gal bucket about every 2 days so about the same as you. Did you use pump for anything else, you may have something suck in tubing or in pump. You could try running Vinegar and water solution through it. I would almost bet something is plugged up.

I went to a 90 gph pump and it works fine now. Not sure why the aqua lifter didn't work.
Anyone want to buy a slightly used Aqua lifter pump.LOL
