I have recently picked up a syringe and was planing on trying the vinager or lemon juice method of extermination. I was wondering how much to put in ? I don't want to cause a ph swing in my tank. I need some advice.

if your only killing of a couple at a time i wouldnt worry about it,i have used up to 10 syringes full of boiling vinigar with no effects to my tank, saying that i probably wouldnt use more than that untill the next day

Vinegar what works fine for me. If you got a lot get the Julian thingy or BRS has a long acrylic tube feeder thing that would also work. Syringe with some tubing, I'd like to use a syringe with a short peace of tubing then a long stiff price of acrylic tubing to reach in with.

i use 1 ml per gallon of vinegar to keep my ph at 8.4 not 8.8 and 1 ml per gallon will drop ph by .3 so unless you use a full cup or more you are fine
