Anyone done research into where to get bulk di resin? I have found I haven’t been changing mine as often as I likely should just because I don’t have it on hand. I know reef supplies and pets and ponds sell it, but I am interested in buying from a middleman instead of a retailer for this item. Same as I do with my kalk, I buy 60 pound bags that last me a long time

The only problem when dealing with large amounts, you risk that the resin will dry out from not being sealed.
Check these guy's out. They have 5 lb. on sale now for 49 which is not bad. They also have a 1 cubic foot bags. and they are in Concord,

A ziploc bag is enough to keep it moist. Can always add a bit of h20 to the bag as well if you feel its dry.

As far as buyign bulk I woudl suggest just keeping your old stuff and once you get half a pail full you can regenerate it yourself using muriatic acid and lye(caustic). Do some research into it since it does involve some nasty chemicals but it is easy to do. DI resin is far from being a one time use item. We have 3 vessels that hold 15 tons of the stuff ot work each and it gets regenerated every other day. It goes for 8+ years before it starts to deliver less capacity.
