Anemone trouble

My nem tank has been happy and healthy for some time now, but over the past week the two bubble tips on too have started 'melting' for lack of a better word, tentacles disappearing and looking rather unhappy,
But the 4 nems on the bottom, 3 of which are bubble tips are completely health and happy and never looked better,
I'm a bit confused.

Here's a couple pics to kinda show  what I'm talking about,
Only inhabitants are 2 gold banded maroon clowns.

Maybe getting ready to split. He doesnt look that bad. Mine go through strange phases too. Then one day there all happy again. Just saying it might be nothing.

Mine is always cranky.  However, if they aren't clones, you might want to run some carbon in case there is some chemical fighting going on.

the tank is tied into a 120g system so lots of buffer if there is a battle, but maybe i will throw some carbon on
