I am thinking about adding a couple T5's to the front end of my aquarium. I have two Radions G3Xr30 mount in canopy on 120g aquarium and I dont like the shadow effect on lower front parts of some larger corals. My question is this, what do you think is the best and/or cheapest option to get a little more light there? Diffuser, another Radion, or T5??? need your input to help my decision. Thanks

I have Dsuny led lights and I added 2 T5's to my tank (1front and 1 back) and I love it. it makes the tank way brighter and defiantly gets rid of the shadow effect. IMHO I also feel it fills in the light spectrum gaps that most led suffer.

Adding a retro T5 kit would probably be the cheapest start up option. There are several LED reef strips made to overcome issues like this. I personally used 2 48" retro fit DIY t5 when I had cheaper LED's and they worked well. There was a notable difference on shadowing when I pulled them off.
