Adding More Flow?

Hey Guys currently decided to add additional flow to omit some minor dead spots and add a little more flow in the middle areas of my rockwork.

Currently I have the following for flow.

2x Jebao RW-8 (2000GPH max per wavemaker) one on each side of the tank approx 10 inches from the surface and 10inches in from the front
I have a Jebao DCs 7000 (1800 GPH) for return.

Realizing I could use more flow on the return side of things but not being able to upgrade due to lack of space in my sump return chamber I have decided to add and additional 2 jebao RW-4's against the back of the tank flowing the water to the front.

The jebao rw-4 are max approx 1000 gph each I think 1000 might be too much but I can always dial it down.

My question is do you think this will fix the dead spots or should I aim them in a different direction?

I drew up a rough sketch in Microsoft paint to show you guys as I suck at explaining things.

The Tank also is a 90 gallon with a corner overflow on the left side of the tank.

Ok good :) so you think from where the rw4 are positioned blowing from the back to front is good? I'm thinking 10 inches from the surface or should I go a lil be lower like 12 or 15 inches? Don't want to go too low and end up blowing my sand bed around lol

So I just checked the biocube specifications and it says that the flow rate is 185gph (700l/h). Being a tech web, I have no idea wha this means, So I am seeking advice from someone more knowledgeable as to whether for a 32 gallon tank I need any more flow than that for a reef tank. Thank you.

General rule of thumb is x10 total tank gallon capacity but depending on length or Rockwork like myself you need additional power heads to get all spots in tank.In my opinion a powerhead you can control with a controller such as a jebao rw series is best bang for your buck

Yes x10 gph, so for a 90 gallon it would be 90x10 = recommended flow in tank, remember can always add more but long as you stay in the happy medium zone you should be ok depending on if any dead spots or flow hungry coral... and no worries we all started somewhere :)

My tank now runs about 40x turnover 10x turnover through the sump. Had it as high as 60x but that was too much and coral didn't like it long term. I personally think 10x doesn't keep the detritus and food in the water column and you still get a lot of settling. If I was going more lps coral I would use a lower flow (10-25x turnover) but if sps you will want the higher (25-40x turnover) your fish will use the power head like a gym workout as well. I truly believe a lot of issues with tangs especially but also other fish are because of too low of flow and they don't get the exercise needed to keep their metabolism up.

just try to get the water moving randomly the worst thing is having flow in a circular or rolling motion. Staggering the on/off times a few minutes or changing the ramping setting will get the same effect with less power heads then all running constant. I'm not too familiar on how the rw controller works I've always used hydor which only has a 2 channel on off and delay timer so you should have more options.
