75 Gal Reef Tank

well, the tank is set up, full of water, added the salt last nite and starting to rinse the "new" substrate.. hopefully it will be in the tank today.. Skimmer (buble magus curve 7) should be here by Monday (fingers crossed) and then I get to sit a wait for it to cycle.. I will be good to get to get my stuff home that members here has generously offered to babysit for me..
I know if there are no pictures then it didn't happen.. will try and post some tonight...lol

well bad news, tank started leaking this afternoon, I have manage to save most of the water, so now another delay, cleaning and re-silconing the tank.. will keep everyone posted....

it does so, I manage to save all of the water except about 5 gals so that's the good part..now the challenge will be to re-seal it..this is going to be a big learning curve..or try to find another 75 gal..

well tank number 2 went out today to have the holes drilled, it should be back on the weekend. I am going to fill and everyone cross your fingers that its okay.. carpets are being cleaned tomorrow, it leaked more water on the carpet than I realized..I will post pictures when it comes home..

I don't know but I am going to find out.. at least it was clean salt water, lol.. I do know there is an odor to carpet, they haven't been cleaned for about 4 months..

Hope all is well with the new tank Heath.

I know if mark sold a tank that leaked, he would be the first to step forward and make it right.
