Looks great but why not put all the plumbing under ground and did you add an extra floor drain or two?!?! Had to ask because I'm a plumber
If you really wanna go the distance id add a back flow preventor
Who knows what would happen with the water supply living by defastco

We did put all the plumbing underground, except for the fish tanks as its hard to run a drain underground and then have it go back above ground and into a sump. I have added a floor drain by the furnace and one behind the 450 DT (well existing floor drain from the bathroom already there). Was going to do a back flow, but not really a need, never had the water back up and I was there during the floods in Hamilton back in 2010, could of been done to be safer and was brought up but didn't do it. As an environmental scientist I can tell you there is nothing in the water from the steel plants.

Yes the Oil tank is gone. That was really the first step of the process.

Wow. Absolutely crazy man. I love it!!! Looking forward to watch the progress of this one. I can't believe you have found the room in your basement to fit all of this but it is going to be one amazing setup by the looks of it.

I must say, I am a little disappointed to see that you needed a sledge hammer to take down those walls... I thought you would have just run through them and rip them out by hand, like Hulk! :D

Wow, what an insane build! If you weren't charging admission before, I'm guessing you will be once complete! Looks like a crazy amount of work, I'm sure it will be rewarding in the end, looking forward to seeing your progress and of course the final outcome :)

Yup it is. This is just the moving the bathroom/laundry machine part. Wait until the fish build starts, going to be crazy :).

I am excited. I can't wait to have the SPS system running, I miss all my awesome sticks.

Next is wall for fish room, new electrical pannel (contacts, swtiches, transfer switch, control board... bunch of other fancy stuff). Stands have been ordered (same aluminum stands as the CRS/Canada Corals), glass has also been ordered.
