I use Foscam FI8910W wireless, it doesn't have zoom so has to be close.

You should be able to get any IP based camera to work. If you want to run the camera without a power cord you need a switch that is POE enabled. (power over Ethernet) Do you have DDNS and port forwarding set up?

I use D-Link DCS-930L. Picked 2 up on a sale on ebay for $40 (IIRC). They are wireless and been working great. They do not have zoom either, my DT one is about 6' from the tank. Network is mostly down at my house right now. Apex is running, but offline, so I can not get a screen shot. Hopefully getting the home network started up again tomorrow and will get pics as soon as I can.

I use the foscam 8918w for my setup. Doesn't have zoom but has infrared so works for me. I setup 3 of them in fusion tiles so it just switches between each for different views of my front tank and the gooey details behind the tank :)
