Loving the GHL KH Director. As for reagent, I have not gone through much. Reagent life depends on what you set. Testing 40ml sample twice a day with dkh of 8 vs testing 80ml sample 4 times a day with dkh of 10. The larger the sample, the more reagent. The higher the dkh, the more reagent. The more often you test...you guessed it, the more reagent. I have been keeping 10dkh testing 80ml sample twice a day. I bought what is listed as 9 months worth (comes with 500ml and bought a 1000ml). I am 6 months in and still have at least 500ml left.

I estimate I will need 2 x 1000ml bottles a year at $42 each which will do over 700 tests and auto correct my dosing as needed. Set at 10 I was charting 9.8 to 10.2 but I never adjusted my parameters for correction. If I had I probably could have it even tighter.

Wow thats awesome, thanks for the info. I have the 2.1 doser and would love the KH director some day. 0.4 dKH fluctuation is impressive. Nice to see the improvements in technology in this hobby.

They actually just announced the Ion Director as well. It uses and electrode to test mag, cal, nitrate, phosphate and 1 more. Production release is scheduled for November. It as well will work with your dosers to correct dosing for mag and cal as well. I am sure it will be big $$$ though.
