Hello everyone,

I picked up a BTA at my local fish store just a day ago, and I was wondering if anyone has tips they know that worked for getting their anemone to host their clownfish. I know it takes time, but i’m just asking to speed the process. My BTA is currently in the opposite side of where the clownfish hang out, and it seems like it’s in a comfortable spot, so how can I get my clowns to move over into that area?

Sounds crazy but I put an iPad up to the glass with a video from YouTube on a loop showing clowns hosting in a bubble tip.
Once they get the first sting, they’ll be hooked.
Takes time but well worth it.

Just reach in the tank a couple times a day and chase the clown towards it, when he is close leave him alone till he comes away and chase towards again. Usually within a few days it's hosting. It has to nip the slime off the anemone and build immunity before it can host and not get stung. I got 2 clowns to host 1 nem doing that within a couple days.
