Lighting thoughts

Just sharing my thoughts, and looking for opinions on light bulbs.

I have a 6 bulb T5 retro in my 75g tank.  I am thinking pretty basic bulb configuration:

2 ATI Aquablue
4 ATI Blue Plus

I have a mish-mash of bulbs right now - my corals do OK, but don't grow too quick.  Any suggestions?

In my opinion ATI bulbs are the best in the market. The combination of ATI Aquablue, and ATI Blue Plus will look just fine and you should get great growth. If you really want to make your corals pop through in a KZ Fiji Purple or ATI Atinic.

I suggested these combinations to Salty1 for his new 6 Bullb fixture.

ATI Blue Plus, ATI Aquablue Special, ATI Blue Plus, ATI True Actinic, KZ Fiji Purple, ATI Blue Plus, ATI Aquablue Special, ATI Blue Plus

OR ...

ATI Blue Plus, Aquascience DUO, KZ Fiji Purple, ATI Blue Plus, ATI Blue Plus, Aquascience DUO, KZ Fiji Purple, ATI Blue Plus

OK - purple or actinic instead of one of the special blues?  You got me confused with those 6 bulb configs!

I just realized that I gave you a 8 bulb config. Sorry, let me try this again.

For a 6 bulb configuration I would do...(order of front to back)

ATI Blue Plus, ATI Aquablue Special, ATI Blue Plus, KZ Fiji Purple, ATI Aquablue Special, ATI Blue Plus

Or

ATI Blue Plus, Aquascience DUO, ATI Blue Plus, KZ Fiji Purple, Aquascience DUO, ATI Blue Plus
