I wanted to add a leak sensor to my P4 but didn't want to spend a hundred bucks so i used a 2n4403 transistor and a 10k resistor and a piece of speaker wire all total a couple bucks and it was stuff i had laying around, will prolly work with apex
Put it in a cap and filled it with silicone
just need something non conductive to hold it on the surface you want to monitor, in my case it is under my CaRx, I am going parallel one under my sump
