Fiberglass Mesh For Tank Cover

Hey guys, so i want to build my own top for my biocube 29 and i want to do the brs diy mesh screen, I went to home depot they only had fibreglass mesh, well they had that aluminium one too but i think that would rust. So my question is, will this mesh be harmful to the tank or its okay?? i looked for clear mesh but they didn't have it..

I ordered the stuff it was here in a couple of days and it worked perfectly and it's probably cheaper than Home Depot
