What The Heck Is This

ITs in the centre of the photo. It looks like a little star. It's super small but there's 4 or 5 on this rock. I have a bad feeling.

FYI it does not react when I blow on it with a turkey baster



I'm wondering if it's hydroids or something

Does it come off, is it like a mat?

OK I see now, does it have a stem? looks more like a clove polyp than a hydroid.

I've had a white tube appear out of nowhere with a similar looking star come out of it. But it's bright red. Maybe a duster of some sort??

Are they showing up as a colony (bunched together) of randomly spaced?

My star polyps always grew in bunches... weird that they don't react when you blast them with a turkey baster, aptasia and star polyps would retract/close. I have had hydro id's before but they didn't look quite like that

by the looks of it id say its a clove polyp. baby feather dusters look the same as big ones just small.
