Thanks guys :)

These were all basically taken right in the backyard, in Masonville, a stone's throw from the mall. Sometimes you don't have to go very far!
Great. I've got a Thursday mornings off and no kids so I am going to try and get out exploring more to get some good shots. Any recommendations in the area?

Hey Aaron, there are lots of great spots in and around London. Depending on which end of the city you are on, some may be closer to home than others. Komoka PP is great out on the west end, Fanshawe on the northeast, and Westminster Ponds in the south east - all are good options and have a ton of trails to explore. Komoka is one of my personal favorites. Smaller parks and wood lots within the city are usually good too and there is always one close to home, just look on google maps or google earth. Along the river can be great as well - Springbank or Greenway for example - you can see eagles, waterfowl, song birds, and hawks. If you want anything more specific, definitely let me know.

no that's great. I'm at fanshawe and wonderland so only about 10 minutes from poplar hill and maybe 15 to komoka. Thanks for the info.

Very nice... I'm guessing those falls are raging right about now with all the rain and snow melt.

Some more, a white breasted nuthatch and a combination of male and female downy and hairy woodpeckers.
